Reception (EYFS)
Welcome to Reception
In Summer 1 our topic is 'We are Gardeners!'
We will be learning about plants and life cycles. We will be planting our own seeds and watching them grow, observing tadpoles and thinking about where our food comes from.
In Summer 2 our topic is 'We are Zoo Keepers!'
We will be learning about animals, habitats, different places and how to look after our environment. We will be learning about where different animals live and why they live there. We will be learning about why it is important to look after our planet.
This term we will be reading 'Katie and the Sunflowers'. We will be looking at the art work of Vincent van Gogh and painting our own sunflower pictures.
