Leavers Activities

As we can't have any of the usual leavers events or activities, we would like children to do some activities and then send them back in to us so we can collate them.  Those children in school will do most of this with us.

  1. Video of you discussing what your memories of your friends have been through your time in school.  This was set as a home learning task previously, therefore the children who have done this do not need to do it again.
  2. Write a letter to your Buddy in Reception, tell them the things you have enjoyed about being their buddy and wish them good luck for next year and the rest of their years in St Lawrence.  Give them some advice for moving up and help them feel positive about moving into Year 6.
  3. Write a letter to your Year 3 Reading Partner. Tell them what you enjoyed about reading with them and encourage them to keep reading.  You can tell them that next year they will be reading partners with Year One, so they will be able to help them with their reading!
  4. Learn the song 'Count On Me' by Bruno Mars (see resources below)  Video yourself singing it and send it in to us.  The children in school will be filmed here, but can practice at home.
