London Class 2017- 2018

Welcome back Year six to the summer terms!

This is the last term at Primary School.  There will be many opportunities to represent the school at sporting fixtures and lots of opportunities to work and play hard, even a drama to end the year.

This year we are going to perform Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Costume ideas are contained in the script on the second page. We are all going to learn our lines for the 2nd of July and bring costumes for that week.

Our Residential trip to Croft Farm is just around the corner with lots of fun activities to be enjoyed. We will meet in the hall at normal time on 9th July - remember your sleeping bags and pillows. Make sure that you bring your inhalers if you need them and any extra medication - Mrs.Brace will have calpol. You might want to bring £2 - £5 for sweets and drinks on Tuesday evening.

P.E. will still take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Now that the weather is becoming warmer please make sure that you have the correct and appropriate kit. Sessions will be outdoors and will require the correct footwear for games, trainers are much better than daps. Deodorant is a good idea in the summer months as are sun cream and hats.

Homework will continue to be set from Monday to Thursday inclusive, as far as we are able with the number of activities you may be involved in, and should be returned to school the following day.

During this last term, ask if you need help or support with your work or activities so that you can make more good progress.
